A meet-and-greet with Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" at Disney World's Magic Kingdom that was axed due to the pandemic is back after four years and complaints from multiple fans.

When I spoke to a Cast Member, they shared that the Beast would still be periodically walking through the dining room and greeting Guests from afar but would not host a photo opportunity in the study. When dining at Be Our Guest today, our server explained that Beast would still be walking through the dining room and interacting with guests. At that time, the meet and greet in the study with the Beast was still being offered, but that has not been the case over the last few years.

I should note, however, that a Cast Member we talked to said that this was a soft opening of the Beast meet-and-greet, and the restaurant will be trying it out for a couple of weeks. First Last. Prior to the pandemic-related closures, diners would get to meet Beast in his study once they finished their meal during dinner.

Well, I am happy to report that, for the first time in four years, guests dining at Be Our Guest can once again meet with the Beast! We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World. Inside the restaurant, guests can dine in one of three dining rooms — the Grand Ballroom, the West Wing, and the Rose Gallery.
