Gay soccer player

The season is kicking off and as usual, I’m updating this post to tell you all the latest of who’s out and gay on each team. Another season, another year of me writing about the NWSL! Mackenzie Arnold holding it down on the Thorns means that we officially have at least one queer player on every team, much to my delight.

As someone who deeply loves following sports for the storyline, knowing which players are openly gay gives me immense joy. Intra-sport romance! Still, they have an honestly amazing stadium and I would expect them to eventually figure it out and get the win.

The Wave failed to make playoffs last year. Yazmeen Ryan is also on the Dash and dating Delanie Sheehan! From World Cup stars to lower-league heroes, meet the gay and bi male footballers who have blazed trails in soccer around the world.

Three gay players makes this team pretty average in terms of queerness. The Red Stars are always very straight, for reasons unknown to me. Bonus points go to Orlando for literally being called the Pride. Like Like. This year, they have two queer players that are looking to make a more established impact.

Christen Press is back, baby! LGBTQ and association football Homophobia has been widespread in men's association football, also known as soccer, throughout the world.

They are decently gay though, so do not despair PNW queers!

Gay Soccer Players Breaking

One gay player! Not only that, Mandy McGlynn, who was previously married to a man, recently hard launched her relationship with Ana Tejada! Most of the team is NWSL vets—they have very few new players compared to other teams—which is a good sign for making a run.

Anna Moorhouse and Viviana Villacorta are dating each other, which is very cute! There are fewer gay players in the league this year than last year, unfortunately.
